Driven by Design is the observations and musings of Jen, a design geek with a long commute.
Jen has been a graphic designer/educator for over twelve years. She hails from Washington D.C. but has lived in Virginia, California, and now she calls Portland, Oregon home. Her areas of special interest and research include signs and symbols and design history, and travel has inspired much of her creative work.
Jen’s commute to teach is substantial, giving her lots of time to observe and contemplate design in our environment.
